Haley was born in May 2014 and found abandoned when she was almost two weeks old. At the time of her discovery she was believed to have been premature and has been diagnosed with “cerebral injury.” A CT scan in her file indicates Hydrocephalus and a cardiac ultrasound lists normal heart function and PFO.

When Haley first entered her orphanage it was noted that she had high muscular tension, however, through rehabilitation training her four limbs are developing well.

Compared to her peers she is still delayed and at the time of her report in May 2015 she could raise her head when lying on her stomach but was unable to roll over, sit alone or crawl. She could stand for a while when supported under her armpits, grasp toys, location the direction of sounds and understand adults facial expressions. Her personality was described as introverted and docile. She liked to listen to music and if she was upset music would calm her. She likes to be held. Haley was described as being very adorable.
