Quinn was born in September 2012 and found abandoned when she was around 10 months old. She has been diagnosed with Down Syndrome.

Agency staff met Quinn in November 2017 and said she responded to voices and her name, followed moving objects with her eyes and searched for dropped objects. In addition to having a few words she could communicate with gestures to express her wants/needs. She was able to maintain eye contact and was said to be a good sleeper. She was living with a foster family and had a 6 year old foster brother. Agency staff described her as a very active and inquisitive, happy girl.
Quinn can walk freely and go up and down stairs without help. She can run, jump, throw a ball and kick. She can eat food with chopsticks and spoons, hold a glass of water and use pens to draw. She likes reading picture flashcards, playing with building blocks and listening to music. She loves to play with other children and adults. She is able to understand simple commands and participate in simple communication (“I want to drink water,” I want to eat that,” as examples.) Quinn pays particular attention to hygiene when eating and likes to have a napkin during meals. Her favorite foods are meat and chicken’s feet. She receives education in a private kindergarten that she is fond of. She is not currently toilet trained.
Quinn is said to be lively and active. She lives with a foster family and is close to her foster mother. She’s described as being kind and friendly. She shares food with her foster mother and gets along well with other children. She is not shy around strangers and always smiles at everyone.
