SPECIAL FOCUS CHILD RELEASED TO THE SHARED LIST
Joanna’s adoption report was completed shortly after her 10th birthday. She has been living with a foster family since she was an infant and was close with her foster grandmother.
She’s been described as a happy and positive girl who liked playing with toys, putting on new clothes, listening to music and watching her favorite cartoon, “Boonie Bears,” on TV. She could sometimes be a little obstinate and when she wasn’t happy she would be quiet for a little while.
Joanna was potty trained and had good gross motor development. Her intelligence was said to be delayed compared to her peers but she was able to express herself with simple communication.
