Jovie was born in May 2007 and found abandoned when she was around 6 years old. She has been diagnosed with being deaf.

Agency staff met Jovie in November 2016 and they said that although she has a calm personality, she also has a strong spirit.  She always let the advocacy team know exactly which toys she wanted to play with by pointing at them.  Jovie has such a giving heart.  She is one of the older children in the orphanage and loves caring for the younger children in the home.  Jovie also loved bouncing a beach ball across the playroom with the team. Jovie is also mildly anemic, and she has language developmental delays due to her deafness.
