Zack is described as handsome, active, and adorable. He loves music and enjoys singing and dancing. He can be shy, but he gets along very well with his peers and teachers and warmly greets those familiar to him. Zack adapts well to new situations. He is able to feed himself, get dressed and undressed without assistance, use the bathroom alone, and wash his hands without help.

He goes to school in the orphanage and is in a class with other children with Down Syndrome, in which he is considered above average. He has some language skills, good fine and gross motor skills, and he knows his numbers, colors, and sizes. Zack can speak common characters, words, and short sentences, though he has poor pronunciation. He can walk, use the stairs, and jump by himself. He enjoys playing catch and playing with balls.

In order to help Zack find a family, all placing agency fees are being waived. Zack’s family will be responsible for the costs of their homestudy, post-placement reports, dossier authentication, China’s dossier log-in and translation fees, USCIS fees, orphanage donation and travel expenses. Our staff will assist Zack’s family with grant applications and fundraising. The federal Adoption Tax Credit may also be beneficial to Zack’s family.
