Donnie was born in March 2014 and found abandoned at 5 months old with a note that read “PKU.” The orphanage confirms that Donnie has PKU although they haven’t done a blood test. He doesn’t receive any treatment or special diet for this condition, although the orphanage reports that he refuses to eat protein. Agency representatives are communicating with the orphanage to help provide Donnie with the proper PKU diet he needs.
