Raelynn was born in February 2014 and found abandoned when she was a few weeks old. She has been diagnosed with post-operative Congenital Heart Disease (PFO.)

Raelynn could crawl, stand and walk by her second birthday. When she was 3.5 years old she had successful surgery in Shanghai for her congenital heart disease and recovered well. At the time her medical report was written she was 4 years old. She was said to be happy to play with other children wave to music.

She could go up and down stairs without help, imitated drawing lines, knew some colors, got along with others well and had a ready smile. She was said to be a quiet girl who was close to her nanny. Her favorite activity was dancing an her favorite toys were blocks. Caretakers believed she would learn more skills in the near future.
