Gunther was born in November 2011 and has been diagnosed with Post-Operative Anal Atresia, Mild Congenital Heart Disease that didn’t require any treatment, Scoliosis and a Hemangioma on his cheek that has been removed.

Gunther was found abandoned when he was about three days old and brought to the orphanage.  He received surgery for anal atresia when he was less than a week old.  Although he was initially diagnosed with a congenital heart defect he received no surgery, medication or other treatment and the orphanage considers that this condition has healed itself.  Gunther has a scar on his cheek as a result of treatment for a hemangioma but he’s still adorable.  He walks, runs and dances. He likes to play with other children, is reported to have normal intelligence and is described as very clever.  Agency staff met Gunther in his orphanage in June 2015 and were quite taken with him.  He was fascinated with games on an I-pad and was able to quickly figure out how they worked.
