Francis was born in June 2009 and found abandoned as a newborn. He was diagnosed with bilateral cleft lip/palate. He received two surgeries to repair his cleft lip and palate, but may need additional treatment and speech therapy.

SPECIAL FOCUS CHILD RELEASED TO THE SHARED LIST

Francis is described as honest, obedient, sensible, and helpful. He enjoys helping out the other children and his caretakers when he is able. Francis enjoys playing with other children. His favorite toys are toy cars and balls.

Francis is attending school in the community. He is in first grade and is slightly ahead in his academics compared to the other children his age. He can do both addition and subtraction. He has normal intelligence. Francis is a typical 8 year old boy who enjoys eating potato chips and candy, and playing with his friends.
