*** $4,000 ADOPTION GRANT AVAILABLE ***
Michael was born in March 2008 and found abandoned when he was around four months old. He has been diagnosed with post-operative congenital heart disease.
SPECIAL FOCUS CHILD
Michael’s adoption report was completed when he was eight years old. He was described happy, adorable, mature, obedient and sensible, and his self care ability was fairly strong. He liked outdoor activities and playing with other children but he would tire easily due to his congenital heart disease. In May 2018 Michael received heart surgery in Beijing and recovered well. A US cardiologist has reviewed his reports and stated that Michael may do well with his current operation for many years, although a heart catheterization is needed to assess if he needs a second operation.
In a 2019 update it is reported that he walks freely, can sing and dance with other children and enjoys outdoor actives, although he cannot do strenuous exercises. He helps caregivers with other children, understands adults conversations and communicates well. Michael is described as a cute and active boy who seldom gets angry.
