When Jackson was 2.5 he was sent to live with a foster family. At the time of his report he was 5 years old and was said to be strong and healthy. He could run alone, go up and down stairs without help, hold a pend and scribble, point to body parts and pick up peanuts with chop sticks. He shared his toys and food with familiar children and liked to help his foster parents. He was described as being fairly introverted and shy, and fond of playing games. He knew his colors and spoke in sentences. He enjoyed playing with balls, blocks and toy guns but his favorite activity was when his foster parents took him out to play.
