Whitney was born in January 2014 and found abandoned when she was around 6 months old. She has been diagnosed with Down Syndrome.

Whitney’s adoption report was written when she was almost 3 years old. She was said to be in good physical condition and seldom sick. Orphanage staff said she was getting prettier and smarter, and was able to show affection. She could walk, go up and down stairs, climb on a stool, place rings around a pillar, fill a container and clap. She is able to follow directions and enjoyed praise. Whitney can imitate words, point out her body parts when asked and imitate drawing lines on paper. Her favorite activity is playing games and her favorite toys are those that are colorful and make sounds.
