Christian was born in December 2013 and found abandoned as a newborn. He has been diagnosed with post-operative congenital heart disease (VSD) which he received surgery for in April 2014, deformity of both ears and facial paralysis (mouth and eyes pull to the right when crying.)
AGENCY DESIGNATED SPECIAL FOCUS CHILD
Christian’s adoption report was completed around his 4th birthday and he was described as being a happy, active tolerant and caring little boy. He had an extroverted personality and his favorite toy was a ball. He liked new toys and being praised by his foster parents. Christian could walk, skip and go up and down stairs independently. He could imitate drawing lines, wash his own hands and undress himself.
His intelligence was said to be delayed compared to peers but he could speak a few words, understood adults instructions and knew the difference between “big” and “small.” He was fond of imitating and playing games, and his favorite activity was playing with other children.
