Duke was born in July 2013 and has been diagnosed with Down Syndrome. He is described as active and lively. He moves around freely and follows instructions well. Duke can feed himself, put his shoes on to go outside, wash his hands and face alone, and help his caregivers clean up. He can say some simple words, such as mom, dad, and aunt and can engage in simple interactions as well. He knows the names of clothes, shapes, and the basic body parts. Duke has great fine motor skills as well. Duke is not potty-trained and still wears diapers. Duke has a scar on his leg left by a burn he received while taking a bath two years ago.
