Ruby Rose was born in May 2012 and found abandoned when she was around 10 months old. She has been diagnosed with cognitive delays.

Ruby Rose was weak upon entering her orphanage. She could raise her head but wasn’t able to hold toys. At the time of her report she was almost 2 years old and was still weak. She couldn’t sit up but could raise her head when lying on her stomach. She could turn to look for sounds and liked to take the caretaker’s hands. She didn’t like noise but did like light music. She liked to be talked to and played with. She could crawl on her hands and knees,  and was fairly introverted and quiet. Her favorite activity was playing with a nanny and her favorite toy was a bell.

NOVEMBER 2016 UPDATE BELOW: 

Agency staff met Ruby Rose in November 2016 and said she searched for toys and was impulsive and busy. She couldn’t speak but would hum when happy or excited. She could stand if supported and was able to crawl. She liked to move and play. Ruby Rose was considered too young to attend school.
