Rick was born in August 2011 and his diagnosis is ptosis which doesn’t affect his vision and post-operation cleft lip and palate.

Rick is an independent little boy who is potty trained and has good self-help skills, including taking off his shoes and socks, eating on his own, and cleaning his face and hands after he eats. He is able to jump off the ground on two feet, walks independently, can run well, and can go up and down stairs. On the way to and from school, he will help the younger children. He seeks help from his teachers to learn new things, will help the other children by getting them paper towels, propping them up, etc. He is always prepared to say hello and hug his teacher too! He is able to do simple counting, stack blocks, and put lids on containers. He is easygoing and cute! He is willing to try new things and is very studious. His teachers, nannies, and friends all adore him!
