Nola was born in December 2008 and found abandoned in an Emergency Room when she was 4 months old. She has been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism which has been treated since she was a baby.

Nola’s adoption report was completed when she was 6 years old. Caretakers said she could go up and down stairs, jump with both feet, run catch a ball, use scissors, cut noodles and imitate drawing lines. She knew big and small, inside, outside and colors. She was fully potty trained and knew to share toys and snacks with other children. She was said to be polite, sensible and cute. Nola could speak in sentences and could dress herself. She liked playing with other children and got along well with them.
She is described as being shy and quiet with a ready smile and normal physical development. Her favorite activity is playing outside.
Agency staff who met Nola in 2015 said she is a little shy but warmed up quickly. She enjoyed crayons, coloring books and stickers. She also liked stringing beads and could do a puzzle with verbal cues. She followed simple commands and answered questions. She speaks simple words in Mandarin clearly.
