Ollie was born in November 2007 and found abandoned as a newborn. He has been diagnosed with post-operative hypospadias and post-operative right indirect hernia. He also was treated for Tuberculosis in 2010.

SPECIAL FOCUS CHILD RELEASED TO THE SHARED LIST

Ollie was sent to live with a foster family when he was 17 months old and he quickly adapted to the new environment. At the time of his adoption report he was 3.5 years old. He had a normal diet and was a gentle and happy child. He got along well with others and was shy with strangers. He liked watching TV, listening to music and playing outside. Ollie could go up and down stairs without help, could jump, catch a ball, and draw a person. He knew colors and was fond of books. He liked games and singing, and had a ready smile. His favorite activity was playing outside and his favorite toys were balls, toy guns and cars.

   

AUGUST 2012 UPDATE BELOW: 

Ollie could go up and down stairs freely, stand on one foot and could say the functions of common objects, He could wash his hands, undress himself and put on his shoes. He would share his toys and food with his friends and liked to help his foster parents. He was described as a lovable, good child.

NOVEMBER 2016 UPDATE BELOW: 

Agency staff who met Ollie in November 2016 said he melted the hearts of everyone on the advocacy team. They said, “Ollie is a very artistic little boy.  He loves to draw and paint. He drew a very pretty picture of his school for the team.  Ollie has a joyful personality.  He loved hopping and skipping across the playroom, and he always had a sweet little smile on his face.

 

Ollie is very well spoken and polite.  He liked writing his name down on scratch pieces of paper.  Ollie has a servant’s heart.  When asked what he likes to do for fun, he stated, “I just like to help people,” which rings true, because the orphanage staff claims he loves to comfort the children in the orphanage when they are unhappy or crying.  Ollie’s favorite color is purple.”
