Shane

Shane was born in November 2005 and found abandoned at 10 months old. He has been diagnosed with mild cerebral palsy. He loves to play, but his coordination is not so great. He sometimes falls down while playing chase outside with the other children.

He is described as kind, smart, and mature. He used to attend a boarding school and returned to the orphanage every two weeks for a visit. Now, he attends a primary school in the same city as the orphanage. Shane does well in school. He enjoys going to school and his favorite subject is math. Shane is very smart. He can read, write, add, and subtract. He is also described as imaginative and his caretakers say that he likes to draw.

Shane is always willing to help other children. Despite his poor coordination, Shane is able to take care of himself. Shane washes his clothes on his own, goes to bed on time, helps clean around the house if he is able, and pays attention to his hygiene. He also has both bowel and bladder control. Shane is energetic, active, and he loves to play.
