AGENCY DESIGNATED SPECIAL FOCUS CHILD
Tara was born in February 2006, abandoned in a bus station on her 7th birthday and brought to the orphanage. Tara was born with Down Syndrome and a heart defect, which doesn’t affect her daily life (although she’s a little out of breath after strenuous running or jumping).
Tara is tall, has good motor skills, likes outdoor activities, and gets along well with other children. She is described as adaptable, talkative, polite, and helpful. We have video of her cleaning up the lunchroom and sweeping and she seems to do them well. Tara has good self-care skills, and feeds and dresses and toilets herself. She likes to pose for photos and to watch TV and laughs out loud at silly shows.
Tara will be visiting the US September 14-28, 2015 through a hosting program!
