HOST CHILD: Harry

Harry was born in September 2011 and found abandoned as a newborn. He has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and club foot.

AGENCY SPECIFIC HOST PROGRAM CHILD

Harry will be hosted in North Carolina the first two weeks of February 2020. If you would like to request to meet him during his visit please complete the questions below. 

 

Harry was born prematurely and spent his first month in an incubator. When he was 6 months old caretakers noticed his muscular tension was high and he was delayed compared to peers. He began receiving rehabilitation therapy and his abilities increased over time.

  

In a 2019 report he was said to be able to feed and dress himself, imitate, memorize classic poems, and stand and walk while holding on to something. He is described as an outgoing boy who likes playing with other children, building with blocks and drawing pictures. He also enjoys interacting with people, asking questions, singing songs and telling stories. His caretakers are hoping he will be adopted into a warm family.
