*** $2,500 GRANT AVAILABLE ***
Peter was born in August 2016 and found abandoned as a newborn. He has been diagnosed with congenital limb differences. His fingers on both hands are affected, he has no left foot and has no big toe on his right foot. There was also a small mass at the occipital part of his skull (meningocele) that was repaired during a May 2017 surgery to separate fused fingers and release amniotic bands.
AGENCY DESIGNATED SPECIAL FOCUS CHILD
Peter’s adoption report was written when he was 16 months old. At that time he was living in foster care and described as a gregarious, extroverted little boy who was fond of listening to music, had a ready smile and liked playing with other children. He could roll over, crawl, sit and stand. He was able to button/unbutton clothing, responded to caregivers asking him for things and imitated words.
The foster home has said Peter loves running around and playing with the other boys and girls, and singing time and play time!
