Mason was born in April 2016 and found abandoned as a newborn. He has been diagnosed with short lower limbs and a private special need.
AGENCY DESIGNATED SPECIAL FOCUS CHILD
Mason’s adoption report was completed when he was 19 months old and living in foster care. He was described as a shy and sensitive boy who liked listening to music and would wiggle his body while it was playing.
He enjoyed playing with toys and had a ready smile. Although he took a little time to warm up to strangers he got along well with others. He could walk, hold a pen to scribble, move blocks in and out of a cup, and build a tower. He understood what “no” meant, could imitate and speak a few words, and could respond to caretakers asking him for objects. Mason’s favorite activity was playing outside and his favorite toy was a car.
