MaryBeth was born in January 2016 and found abandoned when she was a little over a week old. She has been diagnosed with post-operative cleft lip, post-operative cleft palate and developmental delays. She has been in foster care sponsored by Love Without Boundaries.
AGENCY DESIGNATED SPECIAL FOCUS CHILD
MaryBeth was described as being a compliant, gentle and quiet girl who liked to play with toys and was easy to get along with. She enjoyed being hugged and played with by her foster mom. At the time of her report she was 14 months old and could roll over, sit stable with support, hold food and toys and could search for toys if she couldn’t see them. She could call, “mom,” “grandmother,” and “brother.” When she heard a sound she would search for the source. She was imitating words, fond of singing and had a ready smile.
UPDATE BELOW (DATE UNKNOWN):
MaryBeth can stand with assistance and sit alone. Her hands can hold toys. She has delayed intelligence and fine motor skills. She wasn’t interacting with other children but did interact with caretakers, and would smile and when her name was called. She was drinking with a special bottle and was slower to eat than other children.
