SPECIAL FOCUS CHILD RELEASED TO THE SHARED LIST
Harris’s adoption report was written when he was 16 months old. He was described by caretakers as being a good looking boy with bright eyes who was cute when he smiled. He could roll over and sit independently. When he heard a noise he would search for the source. He could hold a tin and take blocks out of it. He wasn’t speaking much but could babble to express himself. Harris played well with other children and was said to be an adorable and good boy. He could crawl and was able to walk holding onto someone’s hand or a railing. He was fond of playing with toys and had a ready smile.
OCTOBER 2017 UPDATE BELOW:
Harris’s development was said to be progressing similarly to his peers. He still required support to walk and wasn’t yet speaking but was able to follow simple directions. He got along well with caregivers and other children.
