Benny was born in September 2011 and found abandoned when he was only two days old. After a recent IQ test, he was given a diagnosis of “mental retardation.”
SPECIAL FOCUS CHILD RELEASED TO THE SHARED LIST
Benny was first shy when he started attending the school program at the orphanage, but after warming up he now plays with toys and is more engaged. He draws and writes, tucks in his chair, can clean his work table, answers questions and obeys his teachers. He is an active little boy, likes to follow along in books with his foster mother and loves the outdoors. He carefully listens to stories read out loud, but doesn’t speak much. He cooperates with his classmates on projects and loves to be praised for his work.
