Daisy was born in April 2011 and is said to be an active, smiling girl who gets along well with others. She has quick reactions, loves reading picture books, imitating, and playing with toys. She has good self-service skills. She has been diagnosed with an ear deformity and after a hearing test during hosting US doctors say that Daisy has undiagnosed deafness, and she has been near-deaf from birth. She can hear muffled sounds at high decibel levels, but not much more.
SPECIAL FOCUS CHILD RELEASED TO THE SHARED LIST
JULY 2016 HOST UPDATE BELOW:
“Daisy is a gem. She is sweet natured and affectionate. She is loving and kind. She has adapted to America beautifully. She loves the pool, the beach, the kettle ponds. She loves to play. She loves to cuddle. She is a good sleeper and great eater!
Daisy has some challenges that with love (possible doctor’s care) can be overcome. We are not sure Daisy can speak any words, either Chinese or English. We believe this is because we are not sure Daisy can hear…or hear correctly.”
