SPECIAL FOCUS CHILD ON THE SHARED LIST
Charles was born in October 2003 and diagnosed with a rare but manageable disorder known as KT (Klippel-Trenaunay) Syndrome which causes abnormal overgrowth of soft tissues and vein malformations.
Charles had surgery in 2006 to successfully remove the thickened tissue on his left leg and now he is able to run, jump, dance, and take part in all the normal activities of a lively fourth grade child. He has a special fondness for music and boasts an outgoing personality with many friends, as well as always being eager to help others; what a wonderful combination! He is waiting for a special family to bring him home and love him.
